Over the two decades, Andrin expanded its business model to include a full range of residential developments ranging in size from small intimate cul-de-sacs to multi-phase golf course communities including a complement of neighbourhood commercial plazas to serve the needs of the local residents.

Currently Mr. Smith serves as a Director of Brampton Brick Limited and First Canadian Title Insurance Company. In 2000, Mr. Smith was awarded the Order of Canada. Currently Mr. Smith is Vice Chair of the Board of Metrolinx and serves as a Director of Brampton Brick Limited and First Canadian Title Insurance Company.
Andrin’s partner, the Kerbel Group, has been active in every aspect of the real estate market and has been a major developer in the Metropolitan Toronto area since the early 1950’s. The company is well respected for its outstanding designs and high quality workmanship and has an impressive portfolio of prestigious condominium projects and exceptional commercial properties. The Kerbel Group also enjoys a successful reputation as an international marketer of real estate projects and is also the principal shareholder of Brampton Brick.
Today, Andrin has built well over 3,500 homes in communities across southern Ontario including Markham, Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Guelph, Kitchener and Bradford. On the investment side of its portfolio, Andrin’s financial strength extends south of the border into Dallas Texas with the high profile conversion of the former Sears Warehouse Building into the hugely successful Southside on Lamar – a mixed-use conversion project containing 456 loft condominiums and more than 120,000 sq.ft. of retail and office space.
